Our client in Qatar is looking to hire IT Internal Auditor

Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
▪ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, information Systems, Accounting, Economics, Engineering. Accredited IT/IS Audit certification.
▪ 5 years in similar or entrepreneurial role. IT/IS controls; IT Auditing; information security (including cybersecurity); Assessment of internal control, risks, and governance processes; Fraud awareness; awareness of developing IT/IS topics such as artificial intelligence and machine learning; transport industry knowledge and the Arabic language are added advantages.
▪ To perform professional internal auditing work. Work involves conducting Information technology and Information security audits, providing ad hoc consulting services on IT to the organization’s management and staff; providing key input to development of the Annual Audit Plan, maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards.
▪ Develop a detailed understanding of the activity under audit, including IT risks and controls. Assess IT risks and internal control strengths and weaknesses. Provide IT general advice to IT and business stakeholders on IT best practices within their processes to reduce risks and improve efficiency and financial profitability.
▪ Performing IT related reviews such the systems physical security, IT project management, network, and information security management. Testing of IT General Controls, Applications, and Information security. Identifies needs and improvement opportunity. Provides recommendation of innovative IT solutions to next level to facilitate change or improvement at a process level.
